In this role you will lead regional environmental initiatives, driving Essity’s RESH sustainability strategy across manufacturing sites. You will ensure regulatory compliance, support continuous improvement, and manage EU Ecolabel Tissue Criteria certification across multiple sites. You’ll collaborate with Site Environmental Leaders and global RESH teams to build capability and raise environmental performance. This position offers impact across Europe, with cross-site coordination and stakeholder engagement to advance our sustainability ambitions.

• Support the implementation of RESH Environmental Strategy and site requirements to advance sustainability and performance
• Assist sites in maintaining environmental regulatory compliance and drive corrective actions
• Coordinate EU Ecolabel Tissue Criteria multisite certification activities and ensure consistency across sites
• Provide expert guidance on regulatory, operational, and sustainability matters to sites and Global RESH team
• Identify best practices,
facilitate knowledge sharing, and develop training to strengthen site capabilities
• Promote environmental awareness and engage with internal/external networks and trade associations
• Foster regional collaboration among Environmental Leaders to align priorities and support global programs
Responsabilidades
• University degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or related field
• Proven experience in environmental management in industrial/manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of regional environmental regulations xqbhyrx and compliance requirements
• Experience with water/wastewater, waste management, air emissions, environmental reporting, incident prevention/response
• Experience with environmental management systems, audits, and certifications
• Knowledge of RESH tools (Gensuite, 3E Protect, GMS) and strong Excel skills
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to translate strategy into practical implementation and drive change
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
