In this role you drive strategic energy initiatives across the EMEA region to support Microsoft's datacenter growth and the cloud/AI economy. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to shape energy supply, interconnection, and sustainability outcomes that balance speed, cost, and risk. You will analyze markets, develop business cases, and advance opportunities that enable scalable, reliable energy for Microsoft services. This is a impactful role at the intersection of energy, technology, and infrastructure with a global footprint.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Lead datacenter interconnection development with utilities and third-party energy suppliers in EMEA
• Analyze energy industry trends, market policy, and regulations to reduce cost and advance sustainability




• Partner with distributed internal stakeholders on site selection and energy project development
• Assist in datacenter metric tracking and process improvement for internal reporting
• Collaborate with external vendors and consultants on regional energy market research
• Support internal business cases including input on financial models and regional strategies
Responsabilidades
• Bachelor or Master in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• Broad understanding of the xqbhyrx European power industry, especially deregulated markets
• Experience in energy industry, project management, business development or related roles
• Strong commercial and technical analysis capabilities for tariffs, contracts, and market fundamentals
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Preferred: experience negotiating power agreements
• Other: ability to meet security screening requirements
