In this role you define and govern Roche’s architectural vision, ensuring alignment with business goals and advancing the Reference Architecture. You collaborate across engineers, product managers, sales, medical teams, and leaders to deliver scalable, reusable solutions. You address non-functional requirements and drive platform modernization to support digital medical products. You shape Roche’s common platform strategy, enabling innovation and reliable, scalable customer-facing products.

• Guard the Architecture roadmap and Reference Architecture for the Roche Ecosystem
• Collaborate with Engineers, Product Managers, Sales, Medical teams, Customer Area leads, Lifecycle leads, and stakeholders to propose scalable, reliable solutions
• Guide the technical solution process to integrate applications and systems using Roche’s Reference Architecture components
• Support Development and Solution Architects to deliver strategic outcomes and robust service delivery
• Foster high-quality maintenance, enhancements, and strategic projects aligned with the Roche Ecosystem strategy
• Define reusable architectural components ensuring alignment with regulations, best practices, and Roche standards
• Analyze non-functional requirements (security, scalability, performance) and implement solutions to address risks




• Develop advanced architecture blueprints and frameworks promoting reuse and value across Roche’s digital products and services
• Deliver clear technology strategies and roadmaps aligned with Roche Ecosystem Strategy and Reference Architecture
• Develop and maintain architectural guidelines specific to Roche’s Reference Architecture
• Lead adoption of Roche Reference Architecture across project teams to ensure scalable, reliable products
• Identify and address technical gaps in Roche Reference Architecture with innovative solutions
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement to ensure the architecture meets business and engineering needs
• Drive Reference Architecture strategy initiatives to support digital transformation, scalability, and innovation
• Lead architectural decision-making to ensure consistency across customer-facing products
Responsabilidades
• BS degree in Computer Science, xqbhyrx Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in business architecture or related roles with focus on reference architecture and shared platform strategies
• Strong understanding of business architecture principles and translating goals into platform strategies
• Experience in platform strategies, technical integration, and building block-based solutions
• Expertise in software development methodologies, architectural governance, APIs, and shared services models for enterprise platforms
• Proven ability to analyze non-functional requirements like security, reliability, and scalability
• Advanced collaboration, communication, and consulting skills in cross-functional global environments
