As the Global Category Manager for Hotel and Mobility, you will shape Hitachi Energy’s integral sourcing strategy for accommodation and ground transport. You will drive supplier selection, negotiations, and program performance across locations, collaborating with Travel Management, SCM, and the Hitachi Group. You’ll address market dynamics, cost-saving opportunities, and program implementation within TMC and Concur environments. This role offers impact across travel policy, supplier performance, and global framework agreements, with a clear path to measurable commercial value.

• Develop and execute the global category strategy for Hotel and Mobility aligned with travel and procurement policy
• Negotiate and manage global and regional framework agreements with hotels and mobility providers
• Coordinate with the Hitachi Group to secure best conditions across the Group
• Partner with Country Heads and regional stakeholders to translate local needs into the global category approach
• Analyze travel spend, booking patterns, market developments, and supplier performance to identify trends and savings
• Ensure negotiated conditions comply with policy; track savings, KPIs, SLAs, and supplier performance
• Implement negotiated programs within the TMC environment and Concur (rate loading, content distribution, traveler communication, adoption)
• Conduct regular business reviews with key suppliers to manage performance and renewals




• Develop communications plans to promote programs, improve policy compliance, and traveler adoption
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory requirements to keep the category strategy competitive
• Roll out and communicate new agreements across the organization
Responsabilidades
• Bachelor or higher in Business/SC/Finance or related field with preference for advanced degree
• Several years in category management or strategic procurement, ideally Travel/Hotel/Mobility
• Operational and strategic experience in corporate travel; experience with TMCs
• Proven track record in negotiating global and regional hotel and mobility agreements
• Experience with travel program implementation and process optimization in TMC/Concur environments across regions
• Strong analytical xqbhyrx skills translating spend data and supplier performance into actions
• Experience managing global RFPs: supplier selection, evaluations, negotiations, implementation
• Knowledge of hotel sourcing, global hotel programs, car rental procurement, KPI/SLA management
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across levels including senior leadership
• Knowledge of procurement governance, compliance, and ethical sourcing
• Proficiency with Ariba, Concur, GDS systems, and travel analytics tools
• Fluent in English; additional languages advantageous
