In this role you will drive system value optimization for wind turbine products, delivering loads and cosims, and preparing certification documentation. You’ll support method development and build the loads toolchain to enable robust, cost-effective designs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address certification questions and update design envelopes, contributing to validation for prototype and fleet operations. This role offers the chance to shape engineering standards and improve how loads are used across development and production.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Perform system value optimization and trade-off analyses across loads, stability, operation, and performance
• Deliver NPI/DTO loads, prepare simulation models, run loads simulations, and post-process results
• Prepare load envelopes and certification documentation, support certification bodies
• Develop and maintain the loads toolchain and pre/post-processing workflows (excluding One Wind tools)
• Create cosims and co-simulation setups for prototype and fleet leader validation
• Address gaps between simulations and field measurements; support design reviews and technical underwriting documents
• Help develop and update DP and standard work; contribute to lean and industrialization initiatives
• Assist in risk assessment and mitigation, and update loads DFMEA
• Prepare design reviews and related technical documentation
Responsabilidades
• B.S. in Mechanical, Wind, Systems, or Aerospace Engineering
• Knowledge of loads for wind turbines; capability to perform operability and basic xqbhyrx stability checks
• Ability to prepare certification load packages and respond to certification questions
• Experience with simulation models and post-processing of results; cosim/co-simulation experience is a plus
• Strong problem solving and communication skills; able to defend technical positions
• Unknown in terms of master-level requirement; optional advantages include Master in the listed fields
• Completion of Edison Engineering Development Program is listed as a desirable credential
