As part of our growing team, we're seeking a DevOps Engineer. Based in Madrid (El Escorial), this role will put you at the core of a public sector client's infrastructure, ensuring the reliability and performance of their containerized platform.
Your Role
You are a key pillar of our client's platform operations, providing hands-on technical expertise in containerization and platform administration. You'll ensure the deployment, optimization, and day-to-day operation of the client's OpenShift and container infrastructure. You'll work in a hybrid setup, with 3 days per week on-site at the client, coordinating closely with development and infrastructure teams to keep applications running smoothly and securely.
Your Responsibilities
Administer and maintain the container platform (Kubernetes/OpenShift), ensuring stability and performance.
Deploy and manage application releases, including rollback strategies where needed.
Automate operational tasks through scripting and tools such as Ansible.
Monitor systems, diagnose incidents, and drive root-cause resolution.
Manage access control and apply security best practices within the container environment.
Collaborate with client teams to align on operational priorities and standards.
What You Bring
3 to 5 years of experience in DevOps / infrastructure administration.
Expert-level hands-on experience with container management (Docker, Kubernetes).
Proven experience with OpenShift specifically.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation scripting (Bash/Python, Ansible).
Comfortable working in public sector or highly regulated environments.
