Mitsubishi Power Europe is part of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, delivering critical energy infrastructure across EMEA. Our IT environment underpins everything we do, from office based collaboration to operational support at customer power plants across the region.We are now looking to appoint an IT Support Specialist to strengthen our European IT capability, based in our Madrid office. This is a hands on, technically varied role, adecuado for someone who enjoys working across servers, networks, user support, and vendor management in a complex international environment.You will work closely with the IT Manager, regional operational teams, external vendors, and our Head Office IT colleagues in Japan. The role offers exposure to enterprise infrastructure, international stakeholders, and real responsibility from day one.Role ResponsibilitesYou will:Provide first-line IT support to end users via phone, email, instant messaging, and remote support toolsSupport PCs, laptops, mobile devices, operating systems, business applications, printers, networks, and conference systemsMonitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networking equipment, and endpoint devicesDiagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, escalating to second-line support where appropriateProcess IT requests, including new starters/leavers, user account administration, software installations, device provisioning, and procurement of standard IT equipmentCoordinate with external IT vendors to resolve technical issues and support procurement activitiesMaintain accurate records of IT assets, software licenses, subscriptions, warranties, incidents, and technical documentationMonitor infrastructure alerts and support backup, disaster recovery, security, patch management, and system maintenance activitiesDocument incidents, system configurations, operational procedures, and technical manuals.Assist with IT audits, infrastructure reviews, compliance activities,



and the implementation of new IT processes and proceduresCollaborate with the IT Operations team across EMEA and Head Office IT in Japan to ensure consistent service deliveryProvide second-line operational support as experience develops and cover team members when requiredParticipate in meetings, prepare documentation and meeting minutes, and provide ad hoc support to the IT Manager and management teamWe are seeking someone with a strong technical foundation and a pragmatic, service oriented mindset.
