The Truck Scheduler will schedule and route shipments to achieve the best customer service possible at the lowest cost to O'NealManufacturing Services.
Duties andResponsibilities
- Prepare bills of lading for outgoing shipments.
- Shipreturnauthorizations asrequired.
- Assign loads to various freight lines.
- Assistinshipping"will call" orders for customers.
- Prepare ASNs forcustomers,whenrequired.
- Enter information into customer portals, as necessary.
- Compile all required paperwork for customers, vendors,carrierand third-partylogisticsentities.
- Collaborate with customers to ship parts, as necessary.
- Communicate and collaborate with other departments and employees in the plant tofacilitatethe shipment of priority parts.
- Package orders, as needed.
- Responsible for providing error-free work to all internal and external customers as related to the output of their position.
Skills andQualifications
- Two or more years working in a shop or manufacturing settingrequired.
- Able to obtain OMS Forklift and Overhead Crane certifications.
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook.
- Experience with ERP systemrequired.
- Able to work in a high-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.College degree preferred.
- Speak conversational English.

- A bility to lift 20 lbs. as needed.
- Ability to bend, stand, climb,twistand stoop for extended periods of time.
- Ability to perform sedentaryworkincluding sitting for extended periods of time.
- Ability tooperatestandard office equipment.
- Havegoodvision of 20/30 with corrective lenses.
- Ability tomaintaincoordination of hand and finger movements to grasp and manipulate objects with precision.
- Travel as needed toaccomplishdesired results. Overnight travel may berequiredoccasionally.
