What you will do:
- Act as the main point of contact for PostgreSQL topics within the Database Services team
- Define and improve best-practice configurations for PostgreSQL environments on Azure
- Operate, support, and optimize PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server solutions
- Collaborate with Operations, Development, and Business teams to identify and resolve performance issues
- Contribute to database improvements across the full software development lifecycle
- Drive monitoring, alerting, and incident resolution processes to strengthen system stability and performance

What you bring & who you are:
- Several years of experience managing PostgreSQL environments, ideally on Azure
- Experience with database performance tuning, monitoring, and high-availability solutions
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and ideally exposure to other database technologies such as Oracle




- Familiarity with DevOps principles, automation tools, or scripting technologies such as PowerShell
- Strong analytical and communication skills with a collaborative mindset
- Fluent English skills; ideally, you also have a good level of Spanish
