Are you an experienced metalworker looking for a stable position on Mallorca? A private company based in Llucmajor is seeking a skilled blacksmith and structural welder to join its team. The workplace is located in the Son Noguera industrial area (Polígono Son Noguera), offering an excellent opportunity to apply your technical craftsmanship to long-term projects.
In this role, you will be responsible for a range of metalworking and fabrication tasks. Your main responsibilities include:
- Carrying out blacksmithing and forging work with various metals.
- Executing precise structural welding according to project specifications.
- Assembling, adjusting, and finishing metal structures and components.
- Ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and precision in the workshop.
To be successful in this position, you should bring proven professional experience in metalworking. The requirements include:
- Demonstrated prior work experience as a blacksmith, structural welder, or in a comparable metal craft role.
- Solid practical knowledge of welding techniques and structural metal assembly.
- A detail-oriented, reliable, and safety-conscious approach to work.
- Ability to work effectively and independently during regular workshop operations.
The position offers stable, long-term employment on the island. You will receive a permanent contract (contrato fijo) with a continuous working schedule from Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 15:00, allowing you to enjoy your afternoons and weekends. Remuneration is determined according to the official metal sector collective agreement (convenio del metal), tailored to your verified professional category.
