From Oxigent Technologies, we are selecting a Senior System Engineer to join a strategic modernization project based in Barcelona (Poblenou).

In this role, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and deploying the software platforms that will transform how global Datalink services are monitored, configured, and operated—modernizing legacy systems and defining the future architecture alongside international engineering teams across global infrastructure.

What will your main responsibilities be?
System Engineering:
Drive the architecture, definition and design of next-generation Datalink Monitoring, Observability, Provisioning, and Configuration Management platforms.
Enforce engineering quality through modern system definition, design practices, observability, and secure-by-design principles.




Participate in technical reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable, scalable, and supportable solutions.

Platform Modernization:
Contribute to the modernization of legacy assets while supporting operational continuity.
Design provisioning and telemetry capabilities leveraging Kafka, Grafana Labs ecosystems (Alloy, Loki, Mimir, Prometheus), and OpenTelemetry Protocol.
Ensure proposed solutions are resilient, scalable, and production-ready for long-term platform evolution.
Leverage state-of-the-art AI-powered tools to increase productivity in system definition, documentation, and requirements management.

Cross-Team Collaboration:
Work closely with software engineers, architects, product managers, and operations teams across Barcelona and Montreal.
Guide and align with the development team, contributing to technical strategy and long-term platform evolution.
