NEW IDEA is an international fashion company driven by market insight, product development and trend awareness. The Role
This role is focused on design creativity and product development and does not include client visits or sales responsibilities. You will work across trend research, collection planning, style design, fabric and trim selection, and sample follow-up, helping the team create womenswear products with strong design identity, quality and market relevance.
Key Responsibilities
· Research international womenswear trends, market developments and competitor directions, translating them into relevant design ideas for target clients.
· Develop seasonal concepts, colour direction, fabric and trim combinations, and individual styles according to the product plan.




· Create clear and accurate technical sketches, design notes and development information for handover to relevant teams.
· Work closely with fabric, pattern-making and sample teams to turn design concepts into production-ready samples.
· Follow first samples, fittings and revisions, solving issues related to fit, construction, fabric and details.
· Balance design, wearability, cost, quality and production feasibility to improve the commercial potential of each style.
· Source and organise fabrics, trims, techniques and detail references according to collection needs.
· Participate in European market research, store visits, trend research and industry trade fairs, with opportunities to visit the China headquarters and supply chain when required.
Requirements
· Degree or professional background in Fashion Design, Apparel Design or a related field.
· 3+ years of womenswear or fast-fashion design experience;
