? At China Three Gorges Europe we are looking for a Legal Counsel (M&A; Focus) to join our Legal & Compliance Department. In this role, you will be responsible of the following tasks:

Management of M&A; transactions.
Management of corporate counsel matters.
Review contracts and ancillary documents related to the renewable energy sector, including EPC, O&M;, asset management, facility agreements, etc.
Proactive prevention and management of problems or disputes, identifying areas of legal risk.
Coordinate with external legal counsel in projects and other legal matters.
Manage disputes and litigations globally together with relevant external legal counsel.
Provide legal support for other departments within the company (finance, M&A;, H&R;, operation, development, etc.)
Provide guidance in all daily corporate issues related to the department.

? Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Law, or equivalent relevant discipline.
4+ years of M&A; and corporate counsel work experience in prestigious law firms, or as in-house counsel in international companies.




English Advanced level (equivalent to C1-C2)
Spanish Advanced level (equivalent C1-C2/Native)

Other Valuable Requirements:
Desirable Master’s or specialization in renewable energy or any other related field.
Previous experience in M&A; transactions and corporate counsel work;
Previous experience working within a company in the renewable sector or in the energy team of a legal firm;
Intermediate to Advanced level of proficiency with Windows OS, MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Communication skills and relationship management, strategic thinking, ability to execute, problem-solving and attention to detail.
Agile thinking and problem solving. Proactivity, with the ability to work independently. Ability to learn and apply internal procedures. Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks at once.
