The Software Architect provides technical leadership within their domain by promoting architectural consistency, reducing technical debt, and supporting the long-term evolution of the product. The role combines software engineering expertise with telecommunication domain understanding to help engineering teams contribute effectively to maintenance, development, and refactoring of a product or platform. Working closely with Product Management and Engineering, the Software Architect translates customer needs and product feature requests into technical designs and well-defined work packages.
The role in the domain Telco Protocols and Data Processing is responsible for defining the architecture and technical roadmap of Infovista's protocol decoding, data correlation, and enrichment platforms. The role ensures that raw network measurements and performance data are transformed into trusted, structured, and actionable information that powers analytics, automation, and AI-driven insights.
The architect establishes the technical direction for decoder frameworks, data quality, traceability,
and processing platforms that enable consistent interpretation of mobile network performance across technologies, devices, and products.
The role is part of a team of other technical experts that together evolve the technical direction of the Infovista VistaView products, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with the company's technology strategy.
Responsibilities
Architecture Leadership
Define the strategic architecture and technical roadmap for protocol decoding, data correlation, and enrichment platforms.
Establish architectural principles, standards, and best practices across related products.
Drive technology selection and major design decisions, balancing scalability, maintainability, performance, and cost.
Collaborate with product management, engineering, and domain experts to align technical direction with business objectives.
Mentor development teams
