The Internal Communication and Engagement Manager is a core role responsible for developing and executing end-to-end internal communication strategies and employee engagement initiatives across the company worldwide. This role aims to align all employees with the company’s vision, mission, core values, and business strategies, enhance internal information transparency, strengthen organizational cohesion, and boost overall employee satisfaction, belongingness and productivity. The incumbent will collaborate closely with senior leadership, all business departments, and HR teams to unify internal communication tone, optimize employee experience, and drive consistent cultural implementation across the company.
Supervisory Responsibilities
No direct supervisory duties; requires close collaboration with HQ/regional stakeholders (HQ Management, HQ & regional functional head, regional HRBP).
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Internal Communication Strategy & Planning
- Develop, iterate and implement internal communication strategies and work plans based on development targets, business priorities and employee pain points.
- Build a unified, standardized internal communication system and tone of voice, ensuring consistent delivery of corporate culture, strategic updates, policy changes, organizational adjustments and key business progress across all level and all region employees.
- Guide and support leaders and departmental communicators on key communication rollouts and improve the overall internal communication capability of the organization.
2. Multi-channel Internal Content Operation
- build up and manage all internal communication channels, including intranet, social media account, newsletters, bulletin boards, internal magazines, and offline communication sessions etc.
- Plan, create and edit high-quality content, including leadership speeches, company announcements, employee stories, team highlights, business achievement sharing, culture popularization and policy interpretation content.
- Optimize channel operation mechanisms, improve content delivery efficiency and coverage, and ensure timely, accurate and effective transmission of internal information to avoid information asymmetry.
3. Cultural Inheritance & Implementation
- Take charge of the landing and penetration of corporate culture and core values, transform abstract cultural concepts into readable, perceptible and implementable daily scenes and behavioral norms.
- Actively cooperate with HR modules (talent development, organizational development, employer branding), marketing and administrative departments to coordinate internal communication support for talent training, performance management, corporate brand building and company-level activities.
- Accumulate internal cultural cases, precipitate corporate cultural assets, and help shape a unified and distinctive corporate culture system.
4. Employee Engagement Initiative Management
- Design, launch and oversee diversified employee engagement activities throughout entire year, and improve employee recognition mechanisms, discover and publicize outstanding employee models and team examples, and create a positive,
inclusive and motivated workplace atmosphere.
- Support HR peers (Central and regional) to optimize the employee communication related sessions, and track the improvement and implementation of employee feedback, form closed-loop management of employee voice collection, analysis, response and optimization.
- Track and analyze the effect of internal communication and engagement projects regularly, output data reports, summarize experience, and continuously optimize strategies and activity forms.
Required Skills & Experience
Must-have:
- Education: Bachelor's or above in Journalism, Communication, PR, HR, Marketing, or related fields.
- Experience: 8+ years in internal communication, corporate culture, or employee engagement, including 3+ years in project management skill.
- Skills: Full-cycle internal comms workflow (strategy → content creation → channel operation → engagement planning); proficient with internal comms platforms; basic data analysis for project evaluation; mature practical experience in culture building and engagement systems.
- Language: excellent spoken and written English, able to craft compelling narratives and communicate with clarity, fluency, and impact
- Passion on communication and engagement, and service mindset
- Global mindset — overseas study or work experience outside home country;
- General travel: quarterly base
Preferred:
- Experience in large-scale, multinational, or group corporations.
- Hotel & aviation industry with membership program management experience
