CIC biomaGUNE in San Sebastian, Spain, invites applications for a PhD candidate to join the RNATher project, designing and evaluating programmable RNA-binding proteins for RNA-targeting therapies in ALS.
The work spans protein engineering, biophysics and AI-assisted protein design, with joint supervision from Prof. Cortajarena and Dr. Blázquez, at CIC biomaGUNE and Biogipuzkoa Health Research Institute, starting 1 November 2026. The position is full‑time, temporary, and located on site in Spain.
