We’re looking to speak with a Senior Financial Lines Underwriter about a unique opportunity to join a globally recognised and actively growing insurer in their Barcelona office.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced underwriting professional with strong expertise across D&O; and Professional Indemnity (PI) and an established network within the French insurance market.
? The Role
As a Senior Financial Lines Underwriter, you will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of Financial Lines business, with a particular focus on the French market.
You will work closely with brokers and clients, assess complex risks, structure appropriate solutions and contribute to the continued growth of the portfolio.
? Key Requirements
- Strong underwriting experience across Financial Lines
- Excellent technical knowledge of D&O; and Professional Indemnity (PI)
- Established French market broker/client network
- Native or fluent French speaker – essential
- Strong understanding of the French commercial insurance market
- Proven ability to assess and underwrite complex risks
- Strong broker relationship management and business development skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with an international team
- Relevant insurance qualifications are advantageous
