Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - Power Transformer The opportunity As Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in Transformer design at the Integral Engineering Center in Vadodara, India, youll be part of a dynamic team that values innovation, diversity, and collaboration.

How youll make an impact * The success candidate will be the part of an International Design and Engineering Team specialized in design covering different countries. * Responsible to generate Tank Externals meeting factory limitation, guideline, and checklist as per IEEE / IEC /IS standards. * Responsible for Preparation of Customer documents, Manufacturing drawings, Bill of materials etc submission to customer as per project schedule. * Understanding of Transformer mechanical design, Thermal, Dielectrics, Short circuit and sound performance and transformer mechanics * Coordinating design activities within a worldwide factories network. * Participation in internal design concept reviews. * Demonstrated team building skills and networking skills, would be a preference.

Your background * B.E / B.

Tech Mechanical Engineering. * Having a good experience of standardization. * 9 to12 years of experience working in Mechanical design for Power Transformers manufacturing Industry.

Candidates with higher experience also to be considered. * Knowledge on CAD software, any 3D Modelling software is a must.

Creo PLM is considered as an advantage. * Should understand Transformer Design, Mechanical Calculations, Dielectrics, clearance/creepage, basic layout and cleats lead arrangement. * Should have good understanding of IS/ IEC /IEEE Standards/Canadian Standards * Experience in winding design / Tank externals is an advantage * Experience on Microsoft office and tools. * Ability to speak with and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world. * Demonstrated team building skills, would be a preference. * Proficiency in both spoken written English language is required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
