Are you an experienced Data Engineer ready to help shape and scale a modern data ecosystem built on Microsoft Fabric, Azure and advanced analytics platforms?

We are currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer / Data Engineering Lead to join a strategic data transformation initiative within a leading Belgian organization active in the healthcare sector.

What you'll be doing

- Designing, building and maintaining robust data pipelines and integrations
- Developing scalable Data Lake, Data Warehouse and Data Mart solutions
- Implementing data quality, monitoring and observability practices
- Supporting BI, Analytics and Data Science teams with trusted datasets
- Driving data engineering standards, best practices and architecture decisions
- Coaching and mentoring teams while contributing to the long-term data roadmap





What we're looking for

- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
- Strong SQL and Python expertise
- Experience with Spark, Hive or similar Big Data technologies
- Strong knowledge of Azure Data Services and/or AWS
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, Data Factory or equivalent platforms
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes and cloud-based data architectures
- Understanding of Data Quality, CI/CD and DevOps principles for data platforms
