Senior RWE Expert – Contract

I’m currently recruiting for a Senior RWE Expert to join a global pharmaceutical organisation on a contract basis.

You’ll play a senior scientific role within the RWE & HE Immunology function, independently leading complex global real-world evidence studies and contributing to broader asset-level evidence strategies.

You’ll work across RWE, epidemiology, statistics, clinical, HE/HTA, Safety/PV and external partners to generate robust evidence that supports internal decision-making, regulatory engagement and payer interactions.

Key responsibilities

- Lead complex global RWE studies end-to-end
- Develop study concepts, protocols and analysis plans
- Work across epidemiology, natural history, burden of disease, safety, regulatory and comparative-effectiveness studies
- Lead secondary data-use initiatives and contribute to primary data-collection programmes
- Collaborate with statisticians, epidemiologists, clinicians, analysts and external vendors
- Interpret and communicate RWE findings to scientific and strategic stakeholders
- Partner with HE/HTA and Safety/PV teams to define evidence needs




- Contribute to asset-level RWE strategy and innovative evidence-generation approaches
- Apply strong methodological thinking and challenge assumptions where appropriate
- Support RWE functional excellence, innovation and best-practice development

The adecuado candidate will have:

- Strong senior-level RWE experience within pharma/biotech or a comparable environment
- Demonstrable experience independently leading global RWE studies from concept through delivery
- Strong understanding of RWE methodologies, study design and real-world data
- Experience developing protocols and analysis plans
- Experience across multiple RWE study types and methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management across multidisciplinary teams
- Exposure to HE/HTA, regulatory and/or payer evidence requirements
- Ability to contribute strategically as well as deliver studies operationally
- Excellent scientific communication and influencing skills
- Immunology experience would be highly advantageous
