Nexeo is currently looking for an experienced Agile Product Owner – Credit to join one of Belgium’s leading banking institutions.

You will join a dynamic Credit environment and play a key role in representing the voice of customers and business stakeholders. Working closely with the Scrum Master and Development Team, you will be responsible for defining, prioritizing and delivering initiatives that improve Credit products, processes and customer journeys.

You will act as the bridge between business and IT, ensuring that business needs, regulatory requirements and technical constraints are translated into valuable and actionable product increments.

Your Responsibilities

- Define the objectives, scope and expected deliverables of Credit-related initiatives.
- Lead ideation and refinement processes to transform business needs into concrete solutions and product increments.
- Own, maintain and prioritize the Product Backlog, including features and user stories.
- Prioritize features based on business value, customer needs, regulatory requirements, technical constraints and user feedback.
- Define clear and measurable acceptance criteria.
- Ensure the Development Team has a clear understanding of the product vision and priorities.
- Work closely with the Scrum Master and Development Team to ensure high-quality deliveries.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including refinement sessions, Sprint Planning and Sprint Reviews.
- Manage expectations and maintain alignment between business, IT and key control functions.
- Ensure that regulatory, legal and risk requirements are integrated from the design phase.
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance,



Risk Management, IT Architects and General Security.
- Monitor the impact and performance of delivered initiatives using relevant KPIs.
- Identify opportunities to improve and automate Credit processes.
- Use data insights and user feedback to propose continuous improvements.
- Train and support end-users, including advisors and Credit Analysts, on new features and processes.
- Communicate progress through demos, stakeholder meetings, newsletters and progress reports.
- Act as a change agent and contribute to the continuous improvement of squad practices.

Your Profile

- Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Project Manager or in a similar role.
- Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing and prioritizing a Product Backlog.
- Strong experience in stakeholder management and working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong knowledge of Credit products and Credit processes.
- Proven ability to lead and influence a team in close collaboration with a Scrum Master.
- Experience working in a complex environment involving business, IT, Risk, Legal and Compliance stakeholders.
