Experteer Overview
As Trial Development Specialist, you plan, run and assess vegetable variety development trials to support decisions on future varieties.

You will work closely with Product Development, Breeding and Sales to translate field observations into actionable insights.

This role blends hands-on field work with data analysis to improve trial protocols and contribute to a growing vegetable portfolio.

You’ll influence which products advance to market, in a collaborative, field-focused environment.

Compensaciones / Ventajas
• Plan, coordinate and conduct variety development trials in the assigned area, aligned with the trial plan and Product Development Manager
• Monitor field trials from setup to final evaluation ensuring rigorous execution
• Collect, analyze and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to identify key results
• Prepare reports and present results to support evaluation and advancement of new varieties
• Evaluate variety performance and agronomic characteristics using technical judgement beyond data collection
• Collaborate with Product Development,



Breeding and Sales to share insights on varieties, market, customers and competitors
• Contribute to continuous improvement of trial protocols and methodologies

Responsabilidades
• Degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, Horticulture or a comparable field
• Experience in the vegetable seed industry, preferably in product development, variety evaluation or field trials
• Strong agronomic knowledge with ability to interpret field performance
• Strong planning, organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail
• Analytical and curious mindset focusing on meaning behind data
• Proactive, collaborative and hands-on approach with cross-team collaboration
• Valid category B driving licence
• Fluent Spanish and conversational English (min B1) with ability to present results in English
• Knowledge and experience with cucumber and its agronomic characteristics and selection criteria
