Experteer Overview
In this role, you bridge prototype development and scalable production for Helsing's robotics portfolio from Barcelona.

You lead transitions from prototype to production-ready designs, applying DFM and DFA to improve manufacturability, cost, quality, and reliability.

You build and optimise manufacturing infrastructure, collaborate across mechanical, electrical, quality, and supply chain teams, and drive continuous improvement based on production data.

You contribute to cutting-edge robotics work in a mission-driven, ethical defence context.

• Lead transition from prototype to production-ready designs with DFM/DFA to improve manufacturability, cost, quality, and reliability across CNC, sheet metal, injection moulding, and additive manufacturing
• Develop, document and optimise manufacturing processes, BOMs, work instructions, and assembly procedures to scale robotic systems
• Specify, procure and develop fixturing, tooling and manufacturing equipment for production-ready processes
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and quality teams to surface and resolve manufacturing issues early in the design cycle
• Drive efficiency,



quality and cost-reduction initiatives using production data to inform design and process refinements

Responsabilidades
• Delivered manufacturing processes for complex mechanical or electromechanical products from prototype to scalable production
• Deep knowledge of DFM and DFA across CNC, sheet metal, injection-moulded plastics, and additive manufacturing
• Proficient in 3D CAD modelling (ideally Solid

Works) and producing manufacturing documentation (BOMs, work instructions, drawings)
• Specified and procured manufacturing equipment, tools, and fixtures and built production infrastructure to support repeatable assembly
• Strong cross-functional communication across mechanical, electrical, production, quality and testing teams
