Director of Data Science & GenAI - Responsibilities:

- Lead the design and delivery of Generative AI and advanced analytics solutions for Life Sciences clients, transforming complex business challenges into scalable analytics and decision-support solutions.
- Take ownership of multiple GenAI, AI and data science engagements, leading project teams and ensuring high-quality delivery, measurable business outcomes and successful implementation at scale.
- Support clients in developing innovative AI solutions, ranging from advanced analytics and bespoke GenAI applications to agentic AI solutions, particularly across Pricing, Market Access and Commercial functions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, helping them address complex analytical and strategic challenges through actionable, data-driven recommendations.
- Partner closely with business and technology teams to turn strategic AI priorities into practical, scalable solutions capable of delivering meaningful business impact.
- Develop strong client relationships and a detailed understanding of the Life Sciences landscape, identifying opportunities to use AI to support growth, innovation and improved commercial decision-making.
- Lead, develop and mentor multidisciplinary teams while also contributing to business development activities, proposal development and thought leadership across AI and Life Sciences.
- Remain current with developments across AI, GenAI and the Life Sciences sector,



evaluating emerging technologies and identifying how they can be translated into tangible client value.

Director of Data Science & GenAI - Requirements

- Approximately 6–10+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning or artificial intelligence, with a demonstrated ability to deliver high-impact solutions within Life Sciences is highly desirable.
- Strong academic qualification in a quantitative or related discipline and combine excellent analytical capabilities with clear communication skills and a practical, outcome-focused approach.
- Hands-on experience with modern Generative AI technologies, including large language models (LLMs), embeddings, prompt engineering, fine-tuning and agentic AI systems, and understand how to apply these technologies to real-world business problems.
- Understand the broader AI technology landscape and how AI can be applied to Life Sciences challenges, particularly within pricing, market access and commercial functions.
- Proficient in Python and contemporary AI/ML frameworks, with experience designing, developing, deploying and scaling end-to-end AI solutions within cloud-based environments.
- Strong understanding of MLOps/LLMOps, data engineering and data architecture, allowing you to contribute to robust, scalable and production-ready AI systems.
- Comfortable working with large, complex datasets and understand the underlying data infrastructure required to support enterprise-level analytics and AI applications.
- Skilled at connecting business requirements with technical delivery, turning complex or ambiguous challenges into pragmatic, high-value solutions.
- Experience leading and mentoring technical teams and are confident communicating with stakeholders ranging from technical specialists to senior business leaders.
