Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Docent (Teacher) of Physics, Technology, and Mathematics for Obligatory Secondary Education (ESO) students. Based in Lleida, Spain, this role involves fostering a stimulating and inclusive learning environment where students can develop a strong understanding and appreciation for these core subjects. The successful candidate will be instrumental in guiding students through the ESO curriculum, preparing them for future academic success, and inspiring their curiosity.

Responsibilities

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Physics, Technology, and Mathematics to ESO students.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
- Assess student progress regularly, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of achievement.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and guardians to support student development.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the curriculum and educational programs.
- Create and maintain a safe, respectful, and positive classroom environment.
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and extracurricular activities as required.
- Stay informed about educational best practices and integrate new methodologies into teaching.

Required Qualifications

- University degree in Physics, Engineering, Mathematics,



or a related scientific/technical field.
- Master's Degree in Secondary Education Teaching (Máster en Profesorado de ESO, Bachillerato, FP y EOI) or an equivalent official qualification for teaching in Spain.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Physics, Technology, and Mathematics to ESO level students.
- Proficiency in Catalan and Spanish, both written and spoken.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and student-centered learning environment.

- Additional teaching qualifications or certifications.
- Experience integrating educational technology and digital tools into teaching practices.
- Participation in educational projects or extracurricular clubs related to STEM subjects.
