About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, high-performing Senior Account Manager – Google Ads (m/f/d) to manage end-to-end client relationships, execute hands-on PPC performance marketing, and drive retention across mid-to-enterprise e-commerce accounts.

In this role, you will act as the primary owner for roughly 8 enterprise or 15 mid-sized e-commerce brands with monthly ad spend ranging from €5k to €50k. You will blend strategic campaign management with strong client-facing leadership—handling everything from onboarding and performance reviews to proactive churn prevention, upsells, and account expansion.

Key Responsibilities

- Client Relationship & Ownership: Own client management end-to-end from initial onboarding to long-term strategy, building lasting partnerships with brand stakeholders.
- Hands-On Campaign Execution: Plan, build, optimize, and scale high-performing Google Ads campaigns (Search, Shopping, Performance Max) for e-commerce stores.
- Retention & Churn Prevention: Proactively identify friction points or declining performance, lead challenging client conversations with composure, and execute effective churn-prevention tactics.
- Sales & Account Growth: Spot expansion opportunities, identify upsell potential (including cross-selling additional channels like Klaviyo e-mail marketing), and manage contract renewals.
- Performance Reporting: Track KPIs, analyze analytics, and communicate performance insights clearly to key stakeholders.
- Leadership Development:



Work autonomously in a fully remote setup with the mid-term opportunity to build, mentor, and lead a small dedicated account team.

Your Profile Must-haves:

- Language: Native/C2-level German fluency (written and spoken).
- PPC Expertise: 5+ years of total experience, including 3+ years of direct, hands-on Google Ads management in an agency setting.
- E-commerce Account Management: Proven track record managing multiple e-commerce accounts simultaneously in a fast-paced agency environment.
- Communication & Resilience: Extroverted, enthusiastic "A-plus" communicator who excels in client presentation, negotiation, and resolving negative client feedback or pushback.
- Proactive & Remote-Ready: Strong self-organization, high ownership mindset, and a demonstrated history of stability (no job-hopping history).

Nice-to-haves:

- Experience with Klaviyo or e-mail marketing strategies for e-commerce.
- Professional English skills.
- Initial team lead, mentoring, or management experience.
- Additional performance marketing channel knowledge (eg, Meta Ads).
