Data Engineer | Barcelona

At Code10, we’re growing our Data team and looking for a Data Engineer with around 5 years of experience to join us on challenging national and international projects.

We’re not looking for “unicorns”. You don’t need to master the entire stack — what matters to us is having a strong foundation in Data Engineering, good technical judgment, and a willingness to take on technical challenges and keep growing .

We’re moving quickly, with a high-priority hiring process , and we aim to respond to all applications within 72 hours.

About Code10

At Code10, you’ll work on projects across industries such as Retail, Manufacturing, Pharma, and Consumer Goods , helping build modern data platforms that have a real impact on business.

You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team including:

- Senior Data Engineers
- Data Architects
- BI & Analytics Consultants
- QA & Testing Specialists

You’ll collaborate closely with both technical and business stakeholders to turn real-world needs into scalable, reliable data solutions .

Your impact

As a Data Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing and evolving cloud-native data platforms. Your responsibilities will include:

- Designing, building, and scaling reliable, high-performance data pipelines.
- Developing and evolving modern Data Warehouse / Lakehouse architectures.
- Contributing to the modernization of legacy systems and their migration to the cloud.
- Ensuring data quality, consistency, and availability through testing, monitoring, and observability best practices.




- Working closely with business and analytics teams to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Contributing to technical decisions and the evolution of data solutions and architectures.

What we’re looking for

- Around 5 years of experience in Data Engineering .
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with data warehouses.
- Experience with AWS or similar cloud environments .
- Hands-on experience working with production data pipelines and real-world data systems .
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive mindset and focus on building robust, maintainable solutions.
- Motivation to continue developing technically and take on greater responsibility in engineering decisions.

You don’t need to know the entire stack. We value strong fundamentals, curiosity, and the ability to learn.
