Fall Creek is creating a world with better blueberries through its friendly, collaborative team spread across the globe. To help us accomplish this, we are seeking a qualified Legal Technician Intern to support decision-making and various legal matters related to the company's business activity. In this role, you will work closely with the Legal team and collaborate with diverse internal departments to design best practices in commercial contracting, corporate law, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance.

This position will be located in Aznalcázar, Sevilla, Spain.

This role will work with diverse colleagues from around the world. While much of the work will be global or international, the role will also have a regional focus—supporting the legal needs of teams in Spain and the EMEA region.

This position is expected to last for 12 months, with the possibility of an extension.

JOB SETTING:

This position is primarily based at the Fall Creek offices in Aznalcázar, Sevilla, with the possibility of hybrid work arrangements in accordance with company policies and department needs. The position will also require occasional domestic and international travel.

What you'll do at Fall Creek:

- Support the preparation, review, and follow-up of commercial contracts (supply, services, consultancy, NDA, leasing, and distribution).
- Collaborate in managing contracts related to plant varieties, licenses, sublicenses, trials, propagation, and plant commercialization.
- Prepare initial drafts, executive summaries, comparative tables, and supporting documents for contract reviews and negotiations.
- Conduct legal research on Spanish, European, and international law under the supervision of the Legal team.
- Assist with corporate governance matters, including drafting agreements, powers of attorney, minutes, certificates, and corporate documentation.
- Track administrative procedures, claims, and litigation,



coordinating necessary documentation with external lawyers and internal teams.
- Support matters concerning intellectual property, plant variety rights, trademarks, confidential information, and intangible assets.
- Maintain updated legal files, databases, contract registries, and tracking systems for legal matters, deadlines, and renewals.
- Coordinate information gathering across different departments and group companies, and collaborate with external legal counsel.
- Translate or review simple legal documents and communications in both Spanish and English.
- Contribute to improving contract templates, internal processes, and organizational tools within the Legal Department.
- Adhere to company values and treat colleagues with respect.

What you bring to Fall Creek: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- A completed Degree or Licentiate in Law.
- Eligibility to formalize a legal training contract for work experience (contrato formativo para la obtención de práctica profesional) for a one-year period.

- Minimum B2 English level, with a real ability to understand, draft, and maintain professional communications (subject to assessment).
- High level of Spanish, both spoken and written.
- Strong interest in commercial, corporate, contract, and business law.

- Analytical capacity to review legal documents and identify key aspects of a contract or inquiry.
- Excellent drafting skills, high attention to detail, and rigor in handling documentation.
- Strong organizational, prioritization,



and tracking skills for managing various matters and deadlines.

- Initiative, responsibility, discretion, and a strong willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a cross-disciplinary, diverse, and international team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Studies or complementary training in commercial, corporate, intellectual property, international contracting, or data protection law.
- Knowledge of additional languages, especially French or Italian.

- Previous internship experience in law firms, corporate legal departments, or international environments (though no prior experience is required).
