Area Sales Executive | Plastics & Coatings | Flame Retardants & Biocides

We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Area Sales Executive to accelerate the growth of our Functional Additives business in the plastics and coatings industries .

This role will be responsible for managing and developing business opportunities across a broad international territory covering Europe, APAC and LATAM , including key markets such as China, Turkey, Brazil, Chile, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Nordic region, Ukraine, Benelux, the Netherlands, and Czech Republic & Slovakia.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive business growth across the assigned territories.
- Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities within the plastics and coatings sectors.
- Manage and grow relationships with distributors, direct customers and key industry stakeholders.
- Provide technical and commercial support to customers, understanding their formulation challenges and recommending suitable solutions.
- Promote TOLSA's portfolio of Functional Additives and support the launch of new products and applications.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities and emerging opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with Technical Service, R&D;,



Marketing and Customer Service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and business success.
- Represent TOLSA at international trade fairs, conferences and industry events.
- Prepare sales forecasts, business plans and regular market updates.

Your Profile
- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in international technical sales.
- Mandatory experience within the plastics and/or paints & coatings industries.
- Proven track record in business development and sales growth in B2B industrial environments.
- Strong technical understanding of raw materials, additives or specialty chemicals.
- Fluent English (additional languages will be considered an advantage).
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently within a multicultural and international environment.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 50% of the time.

Nice to Have
- Experience in Flame Retardancy applications and technologies.
- Experience in Biocides, Fungicides, Viricides or Antimicrobial Additives .
- Existing network within plastics compounders, manufacturers, formulators, coatings producers or distributors.
- Experience selling specialty additives, mineral additives or chemical ingredients.
