The SRE will be responsible for:

- End-to-end operation and governance of overseas public-cloud infrastructure.
- Containers, virtual machines, storage, networks, databases and middleware.
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Production releases and cloud-native application operations.
- Monitoring, incident resolution and performance optimisation.
- Container-management standards, application governance and migrations.
- Resource utilisation, efficiency and cloud-cost optimisation.

Key competencies include:

- Linux, TCP/IP and HTTP.
- Kubernetes and Kubernetes Operators.
- Prometheus and Grafana.
- ArgoCD and CI/CD pipelines.
- Nginx, APISIX and Envoy.
- RocketMQ, RabbitMQ and Kafka.
- Python or Shell scripting.
- GDPR and European data-compliance requirements.

Scope and delivery conditions

- 100% onsite presence, working 08:00–17:00.
- Assignment duration: one year.
- Expected start: as soon as possible.
- Close collaboration with engineering and operations teams in China.
- Chinese and English language skills are highly desirable.
- International candidates meeting the technical requirements will also be considered.
