We’re looking for an SMM Intern / Social Media Assistant

Primitive Thing is looking for someone to help us manage and execute our Instagram content.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is organised, reliable, has a good eye for content, and enjoys social media.

What you’ll do

Execute the monthly Instagram content plan according to our brand guidelines

Prepare and publish posts and Stories

Coordinate with everyone involved in the content plan to make sure materials are received and deadlines are met

Edit and publish up to 10 Reels per month

Keep the content calendar organised and make sure everything goes live on time

Help maintain a consistent visual and editorial style across the account

What we’re looking for

1+ year of experience in social media, content creation or SMM

Confident understanding of Instagram and current social media formats





Ability to edit Reels independently

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Good visual sense and understanding of aesthetics

Proactive communication and ability to work with deadlines

Fluent or strong English An interest in culture, relationships, lifestyle and meaningful offline experiences

You don’t need to be a senior SMM specialist — we already have the strategy, content direction and creative assets.We’re looking for someone who can execute them well, consistently and with attention to detail.

This could be a great opportunity for a junior SMM specialist or someone looking to grow their experience with a premium lifestyle brand.
