Opdenergy is a growing independent renewable energy producer (IPP) with presence in Europe, United States and Latin America with more than 21 years’ experience. The company develops, builds, finances, manages and operates high quality renewable energy projects in several countries, with a portfolio of 2,6 GW (1,3 operational and + 1,3 ready to build / under construction) assets in operations and construction, whole portfolio under development sums up to over 18 GW.

We are currently looking for a Solar Resource Assessment Intern to support our Engineering team from our Madrid office.

What will you help with

- Assisting in solar data analysis and energy production estimates for PV plants.
- Supporting the preparation of technical reports and energy simulations.
- Collaborating on basic PV plant designs and identifying possible improvements.
- Reviewing and organizing solar radiation data.
- Helping evaluate the performance of solar projects.




- Supporting coordination with other teams such as Construction, Procurement, and O&M.;
- Contributing to the improvement of internal tools and analysis processes.

Who You Are

- Engineering degree in Industrial, Mecanical, Electrical or similar. Valuable Master in Renewable Energy is a Plus.
- Full command of English.
- Domain of the office package.
- Willing to learn and support in a dynamic and fast-growing industry.
- Candidates must be able to sign an internship agreement with their university/school.
