Its core capabilities include Lending-as-a-Service, digital onboarding with KYC/AML, white-label financial platforms, asset tokenization, and portfolio wind-down management. The company operates live in production, is regulated, and supports real financial operations on European infrastructure with AI-driven, full-lifecycle banking solutions.
Role Description The Technical Lead is a full-time remote role responsible for guiding the design, development, and operation of CoreFi’s cloud-native, microservice-based core banking platform. This role leads a cross-functional engineering team, defines technical architecture, and ensures scalability, reliability, and security of services across lending, onboarding, payments, and compliance workflows.
The Technical
Lead collaborates closely with product management and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, prioritize backlogs, and drive delivery of new features and integrations.
Day-to-day activities include conducting code and architecture reviews, mentoring engineers, establishing best practices for testing and deployment, and overseeing incident response and performance optimization. The role also involves evaluating new technologies, contributing to technical roadmap decisions, and maintaining high standards of documentation and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with cloud-native architectures, microservices, APIs, and event-driven systems for financial or similarly high-availability platforms.
- Proficiency in leading software development teams, including technical mentoring, code review, and establishing engineering standards and processes.
- Background in core banking, fintech, or financial services, with familiarity in domains such as lending, payments, digital onboarding, and compliance workflows.
- Hands-on expertise with modern DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and system observability.
- Solid understanding of security, data protection, and regulatory considerations (e.g., KYC/AML, risk management, auditability) in financial systems.
- Ability to collaborate with product, operations, and compliance teams to translate business needs into clear technical designs and implementation plans.
- Experience designing and integrating AI-enabled automation or decisioning services with human oversight in production environments is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and comfort working in a distributed, remote-first environment
