Required Skills and Experience Technical Expertise of Payroll: Hands‑on working knowledge and achievement of outcomes that include end‑to‑end payroll operations.
A change agent: Experience in Payroll transformation and vendor transitions.
Adopting and implementing strategies to improve adherence to global processes including having knowledge of industry best practices.
Payroll Compliance & Risk Management: Stay updated on integral, regional, and local payroll laws to ensure compliance. Implement internal controls and audits to mitigate compliance risks. Implement forensic payroll audits to identify fraud risks.
Data Security & Privacy: Ensure payroll data adheres to GDPR, SOC1, ISO27001, and other security roles/standards and organizational guidelines.
Payroll Technology and Automation: Lead the adoption of cloud‑based payroll solutions (Workday, ADP, EY etc.).
Payroll Accuracy & KPIs: Track cost per payroll, accuracy, efficiency, cycle times, employee experience and compliance.
Agile & Continuous Improvement Mindset: Apply Lean Six Sigma process improvement methodologies to eliminate inefficiencies.
Vendor SLA Management: Ensure payroll providers meet service level agreements (SLAs) and compliance benchmarks. Manage payroll vendors to ensure global workforce compliance.
Employee Experience Focus: Improve payroll satisfaction scores by enhancing accuracy and timeliness.
Financial Acumen & Cost Management: Demonstrated fiscal competence to manage payroll budgets. Optimize payroll expenses without impacting compliance or employee experience.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business and MBA in human resources.
Professional Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in global payroll operations. Expert in MS Excel, macros, Power BI, MS list Lean Six Sigma, Payroll, Compensation certification. Hands on experience of managing global mobility and stock options, long term incentive planning in payroll.

Time & Attendance Management: Integrating data.
