Hey!
Get ready to set sails and navigate the rindus wave
We're rindus, a People company. We love IT professionals, and our passion is to help and empower our crew to get the best out of themselves, unfold their full potential, and help them grow.
Because growth is in our mindset, we've been doing it since 2017 closely with our German Partners, helping them shape their software development teams.
So far, we have 160+ crew members of 14 different nationalities sailing with us in the open seas. We're expanding our team and looking for a new rinder to get on board. Are you the next to be reeled in?
About our partner
On behalf of our partner StiboDX, we are looking for the best talent to join rindus. Stibo DX is a market leader In digital asset management, content creation, and publishing platforms for the media industry.
Every day, more than 800 media brands across five continents rely on Stibo DX’s platforms to create and publish content. Their systems ensure efficient and consistent publishing of more than 600 websites and thousands of daily print publications worldwide. You will work in a distributed new team from our office in Málaga.
What you'll be doing
Define and govern the unified API strategy for CUE (REST and GraphQL), design standards, versioning, deprecation, breaking-change discipline, and consistency across teams.
Design integration patterns for a modular, microservices-based platform, sync vs async, anti-corruption layers, adapters, and migration from bespoke customer integrations to standardized platform interfaces;
guide teams on when to use events vs APIs and how to avoid tight coupling.
Own event-driven architecture on Kafka, topic design, event contracts, schema evolution, CDC/streaming, and consistency models (ordering, idempotency, replay).
Establish data domains and governance, ownership models, schema definition and evolution, metadata,
lineage, quality, classification, retention, and compliance readiness.
Align contracts with domain boundaries, connect bounded contexts, domain events, and service ownership to API, event, and data design, in close collaboration with the Software Architect.
Enable teams through architecture leadership, produce reference architectures and integration blueprints, shepherd ADRs, review high-risk designs, and coach teams on better patterns without blocking delivery.
Reduce fragmentation and drive consolidation, identify one-off approaches early and steer teams toward reusable platform standards.
Partner across architecture and delivery, work with platform, product, and engineering teams to ensure standards are usable, adopted, and durable.
What you'll bring

Proven experience designing and governing APIs in large, distributed, multi-team environments
Strong experience with REST and GraphQL API design, versioning, and contract-first approaches

Experience defining data domains, ownership models,
and data governance in a product or platform context
Ability to connect DDD concepts (bounded contexts, domain events, aggregates) to integration and data design
Understanding of AWS, Kubernetes-based platforms, and multi-tenant SaaS implications for data isolation and integration boundaries
Security‑aware design across APIs and events, authentication, authorization, zero‑trust principles
Nice to have
Media, publishing, CMS/DAM, or content-heavy platforms
API gateways, developer portals, or API catalog tools
Data catalog, lineage, or metadata management tools
GraphQL federation or unified API platform strategies
