EMEA Network Architect / Senior Network Engineer (Data Center) Location: Hybrid (Madrid) Contract: 6 Months + extensions Job Description We are looking for an experienced EMEA Network Architect / Senior Network Engineer with deep, hands-on expertise in Juniper-based Data Center fabrics to design, build, and support modern EVPN/VXLAN environments across our EMEA estate. This is a senior, delivery-focused role for someone equally comfortable producing HLD/LLD documentation and getting into the CLI to troubleshoot a live spine-leaf fabric. Mandatory Technical Skills 7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise Data Center networking. Strong expertise with Juniper EX and QFX platforms. Advanced knowledge of Jun OS, including operational troubleshooting, upgrades, automation, and configuration management. Proven experience designing and operating EVPN/VXLAN-based Data Center fabrics. Deep understanding of: BGP EVPN Control Plane VXLAN Overlay Networks Spine-Leaf architectures Anycast Gateway Layer 2/Layer 3 extension strategies Experience with Juniper Virtual Chassis and Virtual Chassis Fabric (VCF) deployments. Strong routing knowledge: BGP OSPF IS-IS (preferred) MPLS basics Experience with Data Center migration and transformation projects. Strong troubleshooting capabilities across: Underlay networks Overlay networks Routing and switching Multicast High availability designs Preferred Technical Skills Experience with automation: Python Ansible REST APIs Infrastructure as Code principles Experience integrating physical and virtual networking environments.



Familiarity with VMware NSX networking concepts. Experience with cloud connectivity: Azure Express Route Hybrid networking architectures Knowledge of load balancing technologies (AVI, F5, Citrix ADC). Architecture & Design Experience Ability to create High Level and Low Level Designs (HLD/LLD). Experience defining: Network standards Operational procedures Security requirements Capacity planning Ability to perform technical reviews and architecture governance. Soft Skills Ability to work independently across EMEA. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience working with integral teams in EMEA, NAM, and APAC. Nice-to-Have Certifications JNCIP-ENT or JNCIP-DC. JNCIE-ENT or JNCIE-DC. CCNP Enterprise / CCIE Enterprise. Azure Networking Specialty.
