Quality Engineer (Bilingual Spanish/English)

Role Overview

The Quality Engineer will oversee quality assurance for a major civil engineering project based in Madrid. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, developing project‐specific quality documentation, and supporting site teams to maintain high standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain Project Quality Plans (PQP)
- Create, implement, and monitor Inspection Test Plans (ITPs)




- Conduct audits in accordance with ISO 9001
- Support civil engineering teams with quality compliance and documentation
- Identify non‐conformances and drive corrective actions
- Communicate effectively across Spanish‐ and English‐speaking teams
- Promote a strong quality‐first culture on site

Candidate Requirements

- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Background in civil engineering / civils projects
- Experience conducting ISO 9001 audits
- Strong understanding of PQP and ITP processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‐management skills
- Detail‐focused with a proactive, quality‐driven mindset
- Willingness to work full‐time on site in Madrid
