Role Description

This is a role for an IB Economics Teacher, available online or in person at our academy in Alcobendas, Madrid. The responsibilities include preparing and delivering interactive, well-structured lessons tailored to the IB Diploma curriculum at both Standard and Higher Level, and providing academic support to students in Economics.



Other key tasks involve developing lesson plans, guiding students through the Internal Assessment commentaries, assessing student progress, and offering constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in teaching Economics, with a strong understanding of the IB Diploma curriculum at SL and HL
- Experience in Education and Lesson Planning
- Effective teaching skills to deliver engaging and impactful learning experiences
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with digital tools for remote education
- Previous experience teaching IB students is advantageous
- Fluent in English or Spanish
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, or a related field
