As part of our Life Sciences activities, we are looking for an Electrical & Instrumentation Project Engineer to support engineering and investment projects within a rapidly growing pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. You will act as the Electrical & Instrumentation Specialist, supporting project teams throughout the entire lifecycle of infrastructure, utilities and process-related projects. Working closely with Project Leads, Engineering SMEs and operational stakeholders, you will ensure that electrical and instrumentation solutions meet technical, GMP, safety and business requirements.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

- Support the delivery of engineering and CAPEX projects from feasibility studies through commissioning and handover.
- Define, review and validate electrical and instrumentation technical solutions during project design phases.
- Prepare and challenge technical specifications, engineering documents and contractor deliverables.
- Coordinate electrical and instrumentation activities with internal stakeholders, engineering partners and contractors.
- Participate in tendering activities, technical evaluations and supplier selection processes.
- Monitor installation, construction and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Support project planning, cost control, risk management and progress reporting.
- Ensure compliance with GMP requirements, engineering standards and site safety procedures.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of manufacturing facilities, utilities and production processes.

ABOUT YOU:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, Automation Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Electrical & Instrumentation engineering within an industrial environment.
- First experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry is required.
- Knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems, instrumentation, industrial automation and utilities.
- Experience supporting engineering projects through design,



construction and commissioning phases.
- Familiarity with GMP-regulated environments and industrial safety requirements.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and coordinate multidisciplinary activities.
- Fluency in Dutch and English is mandatory.
