We’re looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join a high-impact data platform project within the Defence sector in Belgium.

? Duration: 4 months and extendable

- Python & advanced SQL
- dbt / dbt-core
- Delta Lake – ACID transactions & Time Travel
- DuckDB
- ETL/ELT, data ingestion & pipeline development
- Dagster, Airflow or equivalent
- Lakehouse & Medallion Architecture
- MSSQL / PostgreSQL & CDC
- Linux / OpenShift
- Data governance, metadata & lineage
- DataHub / OpenMetadata

⭐ Nice to Have

- Kafka / Debezium
- Apache Spark / Spark SQL
- Power BI Report Server / Apache Superset
- Experience in secure or restricted-access environments
