Job description

We are looking for a Senior Business / IT Analyst to strengthen the Digital Manufacturing Data & Analytics team.

In this role, you will act as the link between business stakeholders and IT teams. You will analyse business needs, translate requirements into functional specifications and help shape solutions within a complex industrial environment.

You will also contribute to digital transformation initiatives, including the migration of the legacy TimeXtender data platform to Databricks.

This position suits an experienced and autonomous professional who is comfortable taking ownership, engaging with stakeholders and driving topics forward.

Key responsibilities

- Bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
- Gather, analyse and challenge business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Facilitate stakeholder discussions and workshops.
- Create source-to-target mappings and functional documentation for development teams.
- Support the migration from TimeXtender to Databricks.




- Analyse manufacturing and business processes and identify opportunities for digitalization and optimization.
- Work closely with business users, architects and developers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Take ownership of assigned topics and ensure they are brought to completion.

Your profile

- Several years of experience as a Business Analyst, IT Analyst, System Analyst or similar role.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder management and functional analysis.
- Experience with source-to-target mapping and data analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Able to communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences.
- Autonomous, proactive and well organized, with a strong eye for detail.

Nice to have

- Knowledge of enterprise systems such as SAP, LIMS, MES or PI.
- Experience with cloud data platforms and analytics; Databricks is a plus.
- Experience with data platform or ERP migrations.
- Knowledge of process modelling, business case development, design thinking or UI/UX.

Location & language

- Brussels
- Minimum 3 days per week onsite, in line with company policy.
- Hybrid working is possible.
- Occasional travel to manufacturing sites may be required.
- Professional proficiency in English is required.
