Skills, knowledge, experience required:

- A minimum requirement of a Bachelor's degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 2 years post-related experience. Alternatively, exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate's particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCI Agency, that is, at least 6 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the post;
- At least 5 years' experience supporting and implementing in deployable or large enterprise environments of centralized storage systems based on FC, iSCSI, SAS or Hyper converged technology like vSAN;
- At least 5 years' experience supporting and implementing in deployable or large enterprise environments of recent Virtualization Technologies based on VMWare ESXi and Virtual Centre.




- Formal ITIL Certification in Service Operation;
- COTS products (Microsoft MCSA/MCSE, VMWare VCP, Cisco CCDA, CCNA);
- Previous in-depth experience with Ansible configuration management and orchestration tool to manage Redhat Linux and Windows systems.

Duties/role:

- Providing professional and technical contributions to the design, development, and execution of DCIS engineering projects;
- Contributing to and participating in a Development Operations (DevOps) environment using concepts such as continuous integration, continuous change management, deployment automation, and system monitoring;
- Supporting junior staff with incident management, service request, and problem management processes as the senior engineer and ultimate problem solver.
