We are recruiting on behalf of our client, an innovative and hyper-growth Belgian Private Equity fund, specializing in the acquisition of healthy and profitable SMEs. Based on a unique acquisition and development model (supporting incoming entrepreneurial CEOs), the fund is showing impressive acceleration with numerous recent closings in booming B2B sectors. To support this momentum, structure the newly acquired companies, and bring each SME up to institutional standards, our client is looking for a Senior Business Controller.

Your missions and responsibilities:

- Financial structuring: Implement and harmonize management tools (deployment of tools such as EMAsphere / ERP) to provide companies with a robust infrastructure.
- Cycle reliability: Supervise the monthly closing process and guarantee the accuracy of the consolidation between local entities and holding companies, without doing the manual bookkeeping.
- Performance management (FP&A;): Model multi-year forecasts, build budgets,



and manage cash flow with high precision (short and medium-term modeling).
- Operational optimization: Detect value creation opportunities on the ground by acting on Working Capital, margin optimization, and pricing strategy.
- Financial relations: Produce the reporting required by banking partners, monitor financial covenants, and evaluate the relevance of investments (CAPEX).
- Change management: Guide local teams towards these new standards with a pedagogical approach, and act as a liaison with the fund's management to escalate strategic alerts.
- Intervention pace: A sustained operational immersion phase at the start (2 to 3 days per week on-site), evolving towards a cruising speed management (a few days per month).

The adecuado profile:

- You have over 7 years of experience in roles focused on business controlling, financial structuring, or FP&A;.
- Major asset: Previous experience in SME environments. You are not afraid to start from a blank page or raw data to build reliable reporting.
- You combine solid accounting skills with an excellent vision of FP&A;, cash management, and the reporting requirements of a PE fund.
- You possess excellent interpersonal skills and can establish yourself as a credible partner to C-level executives.
- You are required to be fluent in professional English and one of the 2 national languages (French or Dutch).
- You are mobile, autonomous, and ready to travel regularly between the various portfolio companies (Belgium and occasionally the Netherlands).
