Salesforce Data Migration Expert – Freelance – Belgium

We are working with a boutique Salesforce consultancy in Belgium that is looking for an experienced Salesforce Data Migration Expert to support an upcoming customer programme.

The successful consultant will take ownership of the data migration workstream, ensuring complex legacy data is successfully extracted, transformed, cleansed and migrated into Salesforce.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end Salesforce data migration activities from legacy systems into Salesforce
- Define the data migration strategy, mapping and transformation rules
- Perform data extraction, cleansing, deduplication, transformation and validation
- Manage large and complex datasets across Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities and custom objects
- Work with business and technical stakeholders to resolve data quality and integrity issues
- Execute migration cycles including test migrations,



reconciliation and final production cutover
- Utilise Salesforce migration and ETL tools such as Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, Talend, Informatica, MuleSoft or similar
- Ensure appropriate data governance, security and GDPR considerations throughout the migration

Required Experience

- Strong hands-on experience delivering Salesforce data migrations
- Multiple end-to-end Salesforce migration projects
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data models, relationships and external IDs
- Experience migrating data from legacy CRM/ERP platforms into Salesforce
- Strong SQL, data mapping, transformation and reconciliation skills
- Experience handling high-volume and complex datasets
- Comfortable working independently within a boutique consultancy/customer environment
