JOB DESCRIPTION

CONTEXT

- Client is an engineering and project management company specialising in railway technology and large infrastructure projects. Its activities are based on numerous interconnected applications and platforms that must exchange data reliably, securely and traceably.
- Within the T-TNM department, the Integration Team (EAI) designs, documents and evolves the interfaces and APIs between internal and external applications, including around SAP SuccessFactors, Dynamics 365, TRAX, PPM and other platforms, in a hybrid environment with Microsoft Azure services and existing systems.
- The integration and application analyst works at the intersection of business needs and technical preconditions. He also participates in the design of applications by defining the functional and technical specifications of front-end and back-end components, their interactions, data models and associated services. He clarifies requirements and business rules, analyzes data and dependencies, models data flows and use cases, specifies interface contracts and mappings, and assesses the impact on security, access rights, performance and manageability. He then guides the teams during implementation, testing, commissioning and incident resolution, in collaboration with application managers, architects, developers, testers, suppliers and business users.

TASKS

- You collect, clarify, and formalize the business and technical needs for data exchange between applications.
- You will analyze source and target systems, data, business rules, dependencies and non-functional preconditions.
- You will model integration flows,



use cases and interactions between components and contribute to the definition of the functional solution.
- You will participate in the application design and draw up the functional and technical specifications of front-end and back-end components: screens, user journeys, validation rules, services, processing, data models and interactions with APIs.
- You specify interfaces and APIs: operations, exchanged data, mappings, validations, error handling, security, authentication and access rights.
- You will prepare functional and interface documentation, diagrams, conventions and acceptance criteria and keep them up to date.
- You challenge requests and propose coherent, reusable solutions that fit within the existing application landscape.
- During estimation, implementation and commissioning, you work together with architects, developers, testers, application managers, suppliers and business representatives.
- You will prepare functional and integration tests, perform them, analyze the results and follow up on deviations until they are resolved.
- You analyze integration incidents and problems, including through data checks and API calls, and coordinate the corrective actions.
- You assess the impact of changes on existing flows, security, performance, monitoring and manageability of the solutions.

COMPETENCIES

ICY TECHNICAL SKILLS

- At least 5 years of experience in the functional and technical analysis of integration solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of integration concepts and patterns: synchronous and asynchronous exchange, orchestration, transformation, routing, error handling, and recovery.




- Experience specifying REST and SOAP APIs and interfaces: contracts, endpoints, mappings, validations, and error codes.
- Good knowledge of data formats and standards: JSON, XML, XSD, WSDL and OpenAPI/Swagger. Protocole OData.
- Be able to model flows, interactions, data, and use cases with UML, BPMN, or ArchiMate.
- Experience in creating functional and technical specifications for front-end and back-end components: user interfaces, application services, validation rules, and data models.
- Experience with data analysis, data mapping and defining business rules between source and target systems.
- Knowledge of interface security principles: authentication, authorization, roles, secrets management, and data protection.
- Experience in preparing and conducting functional and integration tests as well as incident analysis.

GEWENSTE TECHNISCHE SKILLS

- Praktische kennis van Microsoft Azure Integration Services: API Management, Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus en monitoring.
- Experience with Azure DevOps to manage requirements, user stories, tests, anomalies, and releases.
- Good knowledge of API testing and diagnostic tools like Postman.
- Experience with a modeling tool such as Sparx Enterprise Architect, Visual Paradigm or Archi.
- Knowledge of environments such as SAP SuccessFactors, Microsoft Dynamics 365, PPM/Project Online or similar platforms.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and the ability to analyze data, technical logs, and integration messages.
- Knowledge of application architecture principles, UX/UI design, and communication between frontend, backend, and APIs.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices, architectural documentation, and principles for monitoring and observability.
