Experteer Overview
As a SW Requirements and Test Engineer in the Airborne Connectivity team, you will help shape high-integrity embedded software for military aircraft. You will work across the full software lifecycle from defining requirements to verification and target implementation, collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will lead architectural decisions on projects and ensure traceability and quality across deliveries. This role offers the opportunity to impact next‑generation airborne connectivity, real‑time systems, and AI-enabled solutions within Airbus Defence and Space.

• Define and document software requirements from system specs
• Develop verification test cases and procedures from requirements
• Establish traceability matrices across specifications and tests
• Execute test cases, record results, and prepare defect reports
• Manage problem reports and coordinate resolution with development teams




• Collaborate with product/program managers, systems engineers, and validation teams
• Participate in planning and scoping of projects, contributing testing input
• Support timely, on-budget delivery of high-quality software
• Promote process, tool, and methodology improvements
• Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies in software requirements and testing
