At Hays, we are looking for a Platform Manager Automation (PMA) Services Engineer to support and enhance the Campaign Automation Services ecosystem within a global pharmaceutical environment. This role will be responsible for the technical configuration, automation, optimization, and operational support of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and related digital engagement platforms, ensuring the successful delivery of omnichannel marketing campaigns and automation initiatives. The position will collaborate closely with Campaign Management, Campaign Support, Omnichannel Platform teams, IT stakeholders, and business users to deliver scalable, high-quality automation solutions aligned with business objectives and best practices.

What you will do

- Configure, maintain, and optimize marketing automation solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud and related campaign automation platforms.
- Ensure campaign workflows and executions are built according to business requirements and campaign briefings provided by local markets.
- Monitor campaign executions and platform performance, proactively identifying operational issues, failures, and optimization opportunities.
- Own and continuously improve campaign automation processes, driving innovation and efficiency initiatives.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validation activities, and software enhancement deployments within the marketing automation ecosystem.
- Troubleshoot workflow, delivery, and platform issues,



coordinating with IT teams when required.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts, schema extensions, API integrations, and technical components within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Design and maintain campaign workflows, reusable templates, landing pages, and HTML-based digital assets.
- Document technical processes, enhancements, and platform configurations to support operational excellence.
- Collaborate closely with Campaign Support Services, Campaign Management teams, Platform Management Omnichannel teams, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in platform transformation, migration, and continuous improvement initiatives across the digital engagement ecosystem.

What we are looking for

- Strong experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud in enterprise marketing automation environments.
- Hands-on expertise configuring, managing, and supporting marketing automation platforms and campaign delivery processes.
- Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions and software enhancements.
- Good understanding of campaign execution, automation workflows, and digital engagement processes.
- Knowledge of databases, SQL, ETL processes, and API integrations.




- Experience supporting production environments and troubleshooting platform issues.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery models and cross-functional collaboration. (Derived from the collaborative nature of the role and platform delivery activities.)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English.

Nice to Have

- Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), especially Salesforce Data Cloud or Treasure Data.
- Experience in platform transformation or migration projects within marketing automation ecosystems.
- Marketing Automation certifications (Architect, Developer, or equivalent).
- Proficiency in AMPscript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Exposure to Adobe Campaign Classic or other enterprise marketing automation platforms.
- Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, and BitBucket.
- Knowledge of Tableau or other data visualization tools.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical industry processes and tools such as Veeva CRM and Veeva Vault.
- Experience in consultancy, software house, or project delivery environments.
