Prepare job specifications for civil and structural work on assigned projects. Ensure that all civil/structural engineering works on assigned projects are carried out in accordance with the requirements of the project specifications.



Identify circumstances likely to result in contract changes and prepare man‑hour estimates to support contract changes.

Advise the Leader Civil Engineer and Engineering Manager of any slippage and their causes and proposed corrective action including any technical problems and unresolved differences with other groups. Liaise with specialist consultants appointed to support the Civil Engineering, Design Group and construction personnel and address site queries during construction. Carry out periodic inspection of civil and structural work during construction to ensure correct interpretation of designs and issue completion certificates for structural work carried out on assigned projects.

Keep abreast of developments in the civil and structural engineering field. Perform such duties as may reasonably be assigned by the Leader Civil Engineer and Engineering Manager. BSc (Civil Engineering) or BEng (Civil).

Ten years relevant experience in oil and gas projects (design and calculation). Excellent command of Spanish and English languages. Knowledge of Spanish and international standards and codes (EHE, CTE, EAE, EuroCodes, AISC, ACI, etc.).

Advanced user of StaadPro, Staad Foundation, Sap2000, IDEA Statica and MS Office.
