NaviLens

España

At NaviLens, we are redefining accessibility through cutting-edge technology that enables millions of people with visual impairments to interact with their environment independently. Our unique code system is deployed across public transport networks, museums, consumer products, and smart cities in more than 40 countries.

We are a technology company with a clear mission: to make the world more accessible and inclusive.

We are looking for an HR Generalist (People & Operations) to take ownership of our core HR operations — payroll, contracts, and recruiting — while helping us build the people practices of a growing international technology company.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Ensure the smooth, accurate, and compliant management of NaviLens’ HR operations (payroll, contracts, labour administration, and hiring), while contributing to the development of our people practices: attracting and retaining talent, improving the employee experience, and strengthening a culture aligned with our mission of accessibility and inclusion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Payroll & Compensation Administration

- Prepare, review, and coordinate the monthly payroll cycle, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Manage variables, absences, leaves, expenses, benefits, and social security contributions.
- Act as the main point of contact with our external payroll advisors and internal Finance team.
- Maintain and reconcile employee data across HR and payroll systems.

Contracts & Labour Administration
- Manage the full contractual lifecycle: new hires, renewals, modifications, and terminations.
- Handle registrations, deregistrations, and communications with public authorities and social security.
- Ensure compliance with labour legislation, the applicable collective agreement, and internal policies.
- Keep employee files, documentation, and HR records complete, organised, and up to date.

Talent Acquisition & Recruiting
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes:

intake with hiring managers, job postings, sourcing, screening, and interview coordination.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring technical and business profiles.
- Ensure a professional, agile, and inclusive candidate experience.
- Support employer branding initiatives and our presence on job platforms, universities, and professional communities.

Onboarding & Employee Experience
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes together with managers and IT.
- Be a trusted first point of contact for employees on HR-related questions.
- Identify friction points in the employee journey and propose practical improvements.

People & Culture
- Support performance review cycles, feedback processes, and development conversations.
- Help coordinate training plans and internal development initiatives.
- Contribute to engagement, internal communication, and team-building initiatives.
- Support talent retention: gather feedback through engagement surveys, check-ins, and exit interviews, identify recurring causes of attrition, and propose concrete actions.
- Help map internal growth and mobility opportunities so people can develop within the company.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion practices consistent with NaviLens’ mission.

HR Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain and report key people metrics (headcount, turnover, time-to-hire, absence).
- Help document, standardise, and automate HR processes and policies.
- Support the implementation and optimisation of HR tools and systems.

REQUIREMENTS

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Labour Relations, Human Resources, Psychology, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

- 3–5 years of experience in generalist HR roles, combining labour administration and recruiting.
- Hands-on experience with payroll cycles, contracts, and social security procedures.
- Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes.
- Experience in technology companies, startups, or scale-up environments is highly valued.

Skills

- Working knowledge of Spanish labour law and collective agreements, with an interest in keeping it up to date.
- Comfortable working with payroll and HR management software (e.g. A3, Sage, Factorial, or similar) and ATS tools — experience with a specific tool is not required.
- Strong attention to detail, discretion, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities autonomously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a hands-on, service-oriented mindset.
- Fluency in Spanish and a good working level of English; additional languages are a plus.

NICE TO HAVE

- Exposure to international hiring or teams across multiple countries.
- Experience implementing or improving HR tools, policies, or processes from scratch.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety and equality plan requirements.
- Passion for accessibility, inclusion, and social impact.

WHAT WE OFFER
- A mission-driven company with real social impact
- A adaptable and innovative work environment
- Real ownership of the HR function, with room to build and improve
- International exposure and growth opportunities
- The opportunity to work with a team passionate about improving millions of lives through technology
