The Instructional

Designer (ID) at TransPerfect Learning is part of the eLearning Design Team, composed of Instructional and UI/UX designers, who work collaboratively on creating and delivering bespoke learning solutions for integral companies. This posting is for a bilingual French/English speaker only , with a minimum of C1 level for both languages. Analyze learning needs to be able to effectively determine learning solutions that address knowledge and/or performance gaps in the target market Author high-level design proposals, content outlines and job aids, to ensure fit for purpose learning needs to determine effective learning solutions that address knowledge and/or performance gaps in the target Develop storyboards with detailed instructions for the development team using various authoring tools (mainly Articulate Storyline, Rise and ADAPT) Promote collaboration, partnership and relationships among the participants and stakeholders (including clients) in a learning design project Oversee project consistency during learning solution analysis, design, and development Apply advanced adult learning theories into practical,



application-based learning strategy Design learning that reflects an understanding of the diversity of learners, including the demonstrated understanding of cultural differences that may apply Support team of freelance instructional designers (both English and French speakers) Knowledge of adult learning principles and notions of visual design principles Experience working in an agile (SAM) and waterfall (ADDIE) design environment Experience designing, developing, and delivering emerging learning solutions including game-based learning, video, micro-learning, simulations, and immersive scenarios requiring multiple branching elements strongly preferred Proficiency with industry standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate 360 and ADAPT) desired Organization (ability to deliver projects on time, ability to estimate efforts for upcoming projects, appreciated experience with productivity tools) Excellent (C1 CEFR level) communication skills in both English and French BS or MA degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology or equivalent work experience.

This is a position for an experienced Instructional Designer or Learning Experience Designer who can develop learning products in both English and French and communicate effectively with clients from some of the top corporate brand names in France.
